Maison de la Châtaigne
Site dedicated to the fun discovery of the chestnut and chestnut tree in the Châtaigneraie Auvergnate. Situated in the South-West of the Auvergne at the limits of the Aveyron and the Lot.
Capture a variety of images, sounds and flavours (tasting and shop"chestnut products"): Path of 3 km "Trésors du Haut Célé". Visit Colette Castanier's house, her delicatessen from the 50s, her barn, her chestnut orchard...And come and taste one of her specialities made from chestnuts! Cusine workshops every Wednesday morning in Summer + technical activities (grafting, conservation, plantation...).
